Partner Services

 

If an individual is unsatisfied with the quality of service provided by a StartAbroad referred partner vendor, StartAbroad will refund StartAbroad’s service fee if one was collected, exclusive of any transaction fees related to the transfer of funds, be it a credit card transaction fee or international wire transfer fee. A claim must be submitted to StartAbroad within 30 days of purchase of a product, and reasonable evidence of poor performance by the service provider must be presented. It will be up to the discretion of StartAbroad to determine whether the evidence presented does constitute poor performance.

 

StartAbroad will not provide any type of refund for recommended services wherein an individual did not pay a fee to StartAbroad. In those cases, StartAbroad merely provided an opinion without any type of contract with the individual, and is not to be held accountable for the performance of a third-party vendor.

 

StartAbroad Administered Services

 

  1. StartAbroad will provide refunds within 24 hours of purchase, excusive of any transaction fees (credit card, transfer, etc).​
  2. StartAbroad will not provide refunds for purchases after 24 hours
  3. If a client is unsatisfied with the performance of StartAbroad on a service that is directly implemented by StartAbroad, and can provide reasonable evidence that the issue was caused by poor performance by StartAbroad, StartAbroad may provide a refund of some percentage of the service fee. Whether a refund is given, and the amount of the refund, will be entirely up to the discretion of StartAbroad. Any refund provided will be exclusive of costs incurred by StartAbroad, be it a credit card transaction fee or international wire transfer fee AND exclusive of any costs incurred by StartAbroad in the performance of its duties. A claim must be submitted to StartAbroad within 60 days of purchase of a service.
