This service includes:
- End-to-end management and processing of the Temporary Residency application for the main applicant, including legal fees and all standard government and administrative costs
- Full Car Purchase service
- Rental Search Support (if needed)
- Single point-of-contact relocation specialist who will support you through 30 days after your arrival in Costa Rica
- One-on-one, 30-minute video conference calls with dedicated relocation specialist throughout the relocation process at your discretion
- Dedicated relocation specialist available via Concierge Client WhatsApp Line anytime during business hours throughout the move process
- Airport pick-up upon arrival in Costa Rica
- Full medical planning support, including: insurance, medications, specialists, and emergency planning
- Guidance on banking, phone, and mail setup (both local and international)
- Self-guided scouting trip planning support, including location guidance, accommodation recommendations, and car rental advice
- Connection to vetted specialists, including: tax experts, shipping specialists, insurance brokers, and more
- Support identifying properties or investments + connection to vetted buyer's agent (if needed)
- Pet relocation checklist + recommendations on vetted providers (if needed)
Optional add-ons
- Add dependent visa application management for $2,450.00
- This covers the legal fees, government fees, and administrative costs exclusive of the Guarantee Deposit
Pay 70% upfront, and 30% after your visa application has been submitted.
*The price excludes costs associated with document procurement, apostille services, government application fees, and the Guarantee Deposit payable upon visa approval.
**The Guarantee Deposit is due to the government after visa approval, and varies based on the applicant’s country of nationality.

Can I get a reduced rate if I don't need every component of the Concierge Package?
Yes. Many clients only need some of the components of our Concierge Package, but still want the premium-level service that concierge clients receive. We are happy to customize a bundle at a reduced price so that you get exactly what you need, and nothing you don’t. At what stage in my relocation journey should I book the Concierge Package?
Ideally 3-6 months before your move so that we have enough lead time to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. However, our Concierge Package is valuable for clients even a year or more out from a move. In those cases, bi-weekly calls will be used for Discovery and Planning so that you have a partner and guide help you make decisions and understand all of your options. If you are moving sooner than 3 months, you will still find the Concierge Package valuable as so much of the stressful work of the move will be taken off of your plate.
I'm worried about how I will adapt after the move. Is that something StartAbroad helps with?
Yes! The period immediately after you arrive in-country is one of the most stressful parts of the relocation process. After we’ve picked you up from the airport, and gotten your phone and utilities set up, we’ll show you around your new town and make recommendations on how to plug into local and expat communities that align with your interests. We will also be on-call for 30 days after your arrival to answer any questions that come up as you settle in.
